Aston Martin and Brough Superior have moved their motorcycle collaboration from the track to the road with the AMB 002 Roadster.
The new machine is the first road-legal motorcycle created by the two brands. Previous AMB 001 and AMB 001 Pro projects were track-only, making the AMB 002 a much more usable — though still highly exclusive — expression of the partnership.
Built as a collector object, engineered as a real bike
Production is limited to 300 motorcycles, with first deliveries planned for the third quarter of 2027. The AMB 002 uses a new 1,083 cc water-cooled V-twin producing 130 bhp and 110 Nm, while total weight is quoted at just 190 kg.
The engineering goes well beyond styling. A titanium backbone frame milled from a solid billet weighs only 5 kg, while carbon-fibre bodywork helps centralise mass. The front suspension uses Brough Superior’s distinctive Fior double-wishbone system, separating steering and braking forces and reducing dive under braking.

The design references Aston Martin road cars without turning the motorcycle into a branding exercise. The side-strake idea appears in the fairing, the exhaust finish references models such as Vanquish and DB12 S, and the rear lighting echoes the dramatic blades seen on cars including Valkyrie and Valhalla.
The point is not to create the fastest motorcycle on paper. It is to create something sculptural, rare and mechanically interesting enough to appeal to both riders and collectors.
Autoniusy view: the AMB 002 is interesting because it sits between transport, industrial design and collectible object. With only 300 planned, its long-term appeal may depend less on outright performance and more on the fact that it is the first road-legal motorcycle from this Aston Martin–Brough Superior partnership.
