Lamborghini has a very simple philosophy.
Whenever you think they’ve already gone too far, they add a little more.
And that’s exactly what we have with the Revuelto SV.
Because apparently the standard Revuelto wasn’t quite ridiculous enough. A naturally aspirated V12, hybrid powertrain, more than 1,000 horsepower and performance that would have qualified as hypercar territory not that long ago — apparently that still wasn’t enough.
So here we go again.
The 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 remains, but Lamborghini has pushed the hybrid system further.
The result?
1,050 hp.
0–100 km/h takes around 2.4 seconds, while top speed is over 214 mph.
But the real difference isn't in those numbers.
Just look at it.
The Revuelto SV looks like someone at Lamborghini was told to build a car for the day its owner suddenly remembers he has access to a race track.
Huge rear wing, more aggressive aerodynamics, lighter wheels, bigger brakes and a much more serious approach to downforce.
Lamborghini claims downforce has increased by around 80% compared with the standard Revuelto.
And that's what I like about it.
The SV isn't just a car with a bigger number on the badge.
It's a car that has been given permission to become even more ridiculous.
Do we need 1,050 hp in a road car?
Of course not.
Do we want it?
Fuck yes.
And that's probably exactly why Lamborghini exists.
