The Ferrari F12 Berlinetta still feels too modern to some people to be called a classic. That is exactly why it is interesting.
It has the ingredients collectors usually appreciate later: a naturally aspirated V12, dramatic but clean design, front-engine grand-touring layout and performance that remains exceptional even by current standards.
The F12 also sits before Ferrari’s current hybrid-heavy period. That does not automatically make it valuable, but it gives the car a clear place in the brand’s history.
As always, specification and provenance matter. Cars with tasteful factory options, strong service history and no accident stories are the ones I would watch.
My view: the F12 is one of the modern Ferraris I would rather own before the market fully decides what it is. It is not rare in the absolute sense, but the mechanical experience is becoming rare.
